Stathis Laskaridis

Stathis Laskaridis is a Greek violinist and concertmaster of the Athens State Orchestra, active since 1997. He has performed with major Greek orchestras, including the National Opera, and combines an extensive orchestral career with a background in business administration.

Biography

Stathis Laskaridis was born in Athens in 1974. He started violin lessons at the Athens Conservatory, with the distinguished violinist Sophocles Politis, where he graduated with a degree in "Excellent" in 1998. He continued his studies with the same professor at the "Orpheus Conservatory ", where he obtained a diploma in violin with a grade of" Excellent "in 2001. He is also a graduate of the Department of Business Administration and Management of the University of Piraeus. He started his professional career in 1997, as a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens and then in the Contemporary Music Orchestra of ERT. Since 1997 he is a permanent member of OSM. and has been performing as a concertmaster since 2016. He was also a member of the Orchestra of the National Opera, the Symphony Orchestra "ENARMONIA" and the classical ensemble "Mikis Theodorakis".
