Alexandros Trampas

Alexander Trampas is a Greek bassist, composer, and arranger, educated at Berklee College of Music, with an international career spanning jazz, classical, film scoring, and collaborations with leading artists and orchestras.

Biography

Alexander Trampas was born in Athens in 1982. He began his musical studies at an early age, initially on violin, piano, and guitar, before focusing on the bass. He holds a quadruple degree in Jazz Composition, Performance, Film Scoring, and Classical Composition from Berklee College of Music, as well as diplomas in Electric and Upright Bass from the Philippos Nakas Conservatory. He has also completed advanced studies in harmony, counterpoint, fugue, and classical contrabass.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous international artists, ensembles, and orchestras across jazz, classical, and contemporary music. He has worked as a performer, composer, arranger, and music director in a wide range of productions and recordings. In addition to his performing and composing activities, he serves as the orchestrator of The Soundtrack Orchestra, contributing to film, game, and concert productions.
